Lasagna Hamburger Helper
If you love the cozy flavors of lasagna but don’t have the time for all those layers, this Lasagna Hamburger Helper hack is a total weeknight lifesaver! I start with a regular box of Hamburger Helper and turn it into something that tastes straight out of an Italian kitchen. While the pasta cooks, I mix in a few spoonfuls of ricotta cheese, a handful of shredded mozzarella, and a dash of Italian seasoning for that rich, cheesy lasagna flavor. With Italian sausage and some sautéed onions.
In less than 30 minutes, you’ve got a hearty, creamy, and completely satisfying dinner that feels homemade—without the hours in the kitchen.

This easy Lasagna Hamburger Helper recipe is the ultimate 30-minute dinner idea! Made with a box of Hamburger Helper, ricotta, mozzarella, Italian sausage and Italian seasoning, it’s a quick and delicious twist on classic lasagna—perfect for busy weeknights or family meals. First, in a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage until it is browned. Add in the onions and garlic and saute until translucent. Next, stir in marinara sauce, beef broth, seasoning, tomato paste, heavy cream and half of the hamburger helper seasoning mix and the noodles. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce heat and let simmer for about 15 minutes. Stirring occasionally so the pasta does not stick to the pan. Once the noodles are tender, stir in ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese. Serve and enjoy! Want to make it look fancy? Mix Ricotta cheese with Italian Seasoning and add a dollop to each serving.
